Imperio Tickets: built from zero, then became a partner
A ticketing platform for regional events in central Argentina. Buyers get a QR ticket by email, and producers manage sales, settlements and their own team.
- My role
- Joined in 2023 as the developer. Sole developer of the platform since the backend. Partner since 2024.
- When
- Since 2023
- Stack
- Next.js, Node.js, Supabase, Mercado Pago, Vercel
What I did
- Backend and payments from zero, including the Mercado Pago integration
- Database design and a refactor of the existing code
- Full redesign of the public site, after other people had built the first frontend
- Producer dashboards: settlements, management views and user roles
- Box office and QR entry scanning
- AI agents per domain for the platform
What the team owns
Other people built the original frontend, which is why I started with the backend and payments. Sales, producer relationships and the municipal contract are shared with my partners.
Outcome
More than 1,000 events have run on the platform, including the Municipality of Río Cuarto’s events at the Teatrino and the Viejo Mercado.
What stays private
Producer dashboards show money and buyer data, so this case has no screenshots of them.
